Garsila (17 Apr .) - Prices of goods are continuing to rise across the villages and towns of Darfur.

Residents including displaced people told Radio Dabanga the prices of everyday goods such as a sack of millet and a barrel of fuel has reached 300 Sudanese pounds and 900 SDG respectively in Garsila and Nyala.

They expressed anger at the continuing rise of the cost of living particularly with drought currently affecting the region for crops and their limited spending ability.

Some said the only solution was to oust the regime which they described as the cause of all problems currently present in Darfur.
